Zaid Ali is our visiting specialist in restorative dentistry. Zaid is a consultant in restorative dentistry at the Leeds Dental Institute where he leads on the dental rehabilitation of patients with head and neck cancers and manages the dental concerns of patients with many other complex medical and dental histories.
Zaid completed his specialty training at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital having taken his specialty exams in 2018. He has a PhD from the University of Sheffield as a result of his research into quality of life impacts of tooth loss and the impact of dental prosthetics to improve these impacts.
Zaid has a Masters Degree with distinction in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from The University of Manchester and a certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from UCLAN. He has published 14 peer reviewed publications and continues to take an active role in teaching and research.
