We treat patients as individuals, and following an initial assessment of your overall oral health and any problems you may be experiencing, we discuss with you the best way to keep your mouth healthy and looking at its best. We tailor your recall period to your needs. Patients with extensive problems may need to see us every three months while patients with a healthy mouth may need to attend only once per year. And of course once you are registered with us, you’re covered for emergencies too.
Preventative dentistry – keeping decay at bay
Our practice is committed to the prevention of periodontal (gum) disease – the major cause of tooth loss in adults. Our Hygiene Therapy team specialises in both treatment and prevention of this disease. When you are examined, your dentist will screen you for gum disease and make you aware of the findings. We offer specialist hygienist appointments to all patients with active gum disease.
Cosmetic dentistry – improving your smile
Advances in dentistry over recent years have seen the introduction of techniques to improve both the shape and colour of crooked or stained teeth. The use of tooth coloured fillings and simple whitening techniques, as well as the use of porcelain can greatly enhance the overall appearance of your smile. Please tell us about any concerns you may have about the way your teeth look – we can usually suggest affordable solutions that will make a real difference.
Restorative dentistry - dentures, implants, crowns and bridges
The practice is extremely skilled in the special field of prosthetic dentistry and has wide experience in providing comfortable and natural-looking solutions. For those missing a single tooth or a group of teeth, implants may be the answer. Implants can support a crown or bridge and are excellent for retaining dentures. We will discuss all options with you and advise on the best course of action for your particular situation.
